Fire Alarm Technician

ClearCom, Inc. is seeking NICET Fire Alarm Technicians and is offering a $3000 sign-on bonus for experienced technicians:

Fire alarm is a must, along with Access Control/ CCTV/ Intrusion/ Network Cabling/ Fiber/ Intercoms/ Wireless Network Access/ DAS/ Mass Notification/ Nurse Call is A BIG PLUS!

This is a Senior Field Technician Position with great earning and advancement potential for the right candidates.

Position location: Wisconsin

Qualifications:

• NICET Certification
• 5+ Years of fire alarm experience/installation and service
• Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• A valid driver’s license, without restrictions, is required.

Desired qualifications include:

• Must have the ability to work alone or as a team.
• Programming and networking skills are a plus.
• Accomplish goals
• Present himself/herself in a professional manner

Experience:

• Fire Alarm System Service: 5 years (Required)
• Fire Alarm System Installation: 5 years (Required)
• Install various types of raceway and conduit
• Troubleshoot control systems
• Perform routine maintenance on wiring and systems
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes
